2 Administration Departures Announced

Several top government officials have declared whether they will keep or leave their seats in the second Cabinet of the reelected President Hassan Rouhani.
They made the announcement while speaking with reporters after the last meeting of Rouhani’s first Cabinet, Fars News Agency reported.
Justice Minister Mostafa Pourmohammadi and Vice President for Legal Affairs Majid Ansari said they will depart.
Head of the Central Bank of Iran Valiollah Seif and Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Hosseinali Amiri have talked of retaining their posts.
Rouhani will be sworn in for another four-year tenure as chief executive on Saturday.
On the same day, he is expected to present his 18-member list of ministerial nominees to the parliament for votes of confidence.
The president has vowed to pick a “young” and “inclusive” Cabinet, reportedly saying that more than 50% of the incumbent ministers will be replaced.
