Envoys Attend Commemoration of Srebrenica Massacre

Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian and Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mahmoud Heydari attended the commemoration ceremony held for the victims of Srebrenica genocide. Taherian, a former ambassador to Bosnia, accompanied by Heydari on July 11, attended the 22nd anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre and laid a wreath at the tombs to remember the victims of Europe's worst massacre since World War II, Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday.  In the Srebrenica massacre in July 1995, in which more than 8,000 Muslim Bosnians were killed by Serbian forces after they conquered the town during the Balkan bloodshed. Each year, thousands of people attend the March of Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina to mark the mass murder of Muslims in European genocide.
