US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said during a testimony before a US House of Representatives committee on Tuesday that she has not seen any violations by Iran of its nuclear deal with major powers, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. However, Haley claimed that making the agreement with Iran only delayed what will happen eventually, saying, "They're going to continue their nuclear capabilities and we just gave them a lot of money to do it with," Sputnik reported. "In reference to the JCPOA, we're not seeing any sort of violations of that," Haley stated. The 2015 deal, signed between Iran and six powers —the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany— granted sanctions relief to Iran in exchange for constraints on its nuclear work. In May, the administration of Donald Trump, a vocal critic of the deal, decided to stick with the accord reached with Iran by his predecessor Barack Obama and extended the sanctions waiver.
