The spokesperson for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has emphasized that it is Iran's "strategy" to back resistance groups in their campaigns against the Israeli regime, saying it is the United States that should stop sponsoring international terrorists, ICANA reported.
Hossein Naqavi Hosseini made the remarks on Sunday in response to US Senator John McCain who has recently said it would be possible to improve ties with Tehran if it withdrew support for Hamas, Hezbollah and the Syrian government.
