The 4th edition of the New Horizon Conference, focusing on human rights issues in the world, opened in Tehran with European and Americans in attendance. The international conference ' On the Brink 2' got underway at Kowsar Hotel in central Tehran on Wednesday morning, Tasnim New Agency reported. Twenty-five human rights campaigners and experts from Europe and North America are participating in the two-day event. The meeting focuses on the latest developments in the Middle East and the world. The 3rd New Horizon Conference is dedicated to several subjects, including a review of police brutality towards blacks in the US. The first edition of 'On the Brink' was held in early fall last year.
