The secretary general of the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council said the Persian Gulf Arab states "sincerely" want to have "constructive" cooperation with the Islamic Republic, ISNA reported on Sunday.
Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani said Iran is a neighboring country which plays a key role in the region, underlining the importance of cooperation between Iran and the Persian Gulf Arab states based on the principles of non-interference in each other's internal affairs and good neighborliness.
