Iran, Kyrgyzstan Sign MoU to Boost Cooperation

Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and his Kyrgyz counterpart, Chynybai Tursunbekov, signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation between the two legislative bodies in various fields.
The agreement, which was signed after a meeting between the two speakers in Tehran on Monday, includes cooperation in economic, political, social and cultural fields, Tasnim News Agency reported.
During the session, Larijani and Tursunbekov exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest, including the latest regional and international developments.
The Kyrgyz speaker’s visit follows Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s recent trip to Kyrgyzstan as part of a regional tour that also took him to Turkmenistan and Georgia.
