Iran Security Highest in Region

Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli praised Iran's security conditions, noting that thanks to Iranian unity, the country's security is at the highest level in the restive Middle East. Speaking at a gathering of Iranian police officials in Tehran on Monday, Fazli hailed the country's conditions in various fields as "desirable", Tasnim News Agency reported. "Thank God, we have been able to turn political and military pressures into opportunities in the international arena," he said. "In the internal arena too, we have the highest security in the region as acknowledged by friends and foes." Fazli emphasized that the Islamic Republic is enjoying sustainable security based on unity among Iranians, which is well known in the region despite their ethnic and geographic diversities.
