No Links With US Administration

Iran's Foreign Ministry said the Islamic Republic has no links with the new administration in the United States. Whatever has been done so far [in bilateral contacts] was only related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Saturday, pointing to the 2015 nuclear agreement signed between Iran and major powers, including the US. He said negotiations between Tehran and Washington were only related to the Iranian nuclear program, Press TV reported. "With the end of discussions about JCPOA, Iran's "political contacts" with the US have also ended," he said. Qasemi made the statements in response to a question about diplomatic relations between Iran's Foreign Ministry and the foreign diplomacy team of the new US administration.
