In a message issued on Monday, First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri congratulated Laimdota Straujuma on her reappointment as Latvian prime minister, expressing hope that during her tenure the relations between the two countries would improve on the basis of mutual respect and with the aim of serving common interests. Jahangiri also wished wellbeing and success for Straujuma and the Latvian nation, IRNA reported.
