Members of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission will visit the country’s nuclear facilities in Natanz and Fordo to prepare a biannual report on the implementation of the 2015 nuclear deal, a lawmaker said. Abolfazl Hassanbeigi, also a member of the parliamentary panel, told Tasnim News Agency on Monday that the visit, to take place within the next few days, will be part of efforts to prepare a report on the enforcement of the landmark accord between Tehran and world powers over the past six months. “The second biannual report on the deal will be submitted to Majlis Presiding Board by March 20 after visits to the nuclear facilities and a meeting with members of the Iranian team that negotiated the nuclear deal with major powers,” he added. Hassanbeigi noted that Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi, two senior nuclear negotiators and deputy foreign ministers, will attend an extraordinary session of the commission on Wednesday.
