Trump a Layman Prone to Mistakes

Head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi described the new US president as a novice that has made many mistakes so far. "Trump is a beginner and a newcomer on the political scene who has made many mistakes," Kharrazi told Tasnim News Agency on Saturday. The official, a former foreign minister, noted that Iran's policy remains the same regardless of the new US administration, stressing that Tehran stands against "the language of force" by relying on its people. His comments came after President Hassan Rouhani reminded "rookie politicians" in the Middle East and the US that the "language of respect and dignity" is the only way of addressing the Iranian nation. "We are experiencing conditions in which some novices have come to power in the region, in the world and in the US, and they should all know that they have to talk to the Iranian nation with the language of respect and dignity," Rouhani said in an address to a huge rally in Tehran on Friday to mark the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
