The spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has called on the UN nuclear agency to select specific locations for conducting inspections in the Marivan region in western Iran, where the International Atomic Energy Agency claimed in a report  that explosives tests may have been carried out.  “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to allow inspectors access to the Marivan region, but the agency should first announce which locations it intends to visit,” Behrouz Kamalvandi told ICANA on Saturday.  Ambassador to the UN nuclear agency Reza Najafi recently said Iran is ready to give the IAEA access to the region to prove wrong western allegations that Iran may have conducted nuclear weapons-related experiments in the past.
