President Hassan Rouhani is due in New York on September 22 to take part in the annual UN General Assembly meeting.
Rouhani is scheduled to deliver a speech at the UN headquarters in New York, ISNA reported.
The president is also planned to make a trip to Astrakhan, Russia, on September 29, to attend a meeting of the Caspian Sea littoral states.
The Astrakhan meeting is the fourth meeting of the littoral sates - Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan – to be held to formulate a legal regime for the sea.
