Secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Council Mohammad Javad Larijani asked for the appointment of special UN human rights rapporteurs for countries that are directly and indirectly involved in suppressing and killing regional people, including the US, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Israel.
“Today, the US is one of the biggest violators of human rights in the world and aside from the crimes that they commit in Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan directly and indirectly, all criminals in the world are supported by them,” Larijani was quoted as saying on Saturday by Fars News Agency. “The Zionist regime [of Israel] and al-Saud, which have a high record of child-killing, are friends of these countries [the US and its European allies] and the US and countries like Britain sell weapons to them.” Larijani noted that in Bahrain, for instance, people merely want to enjoy the right of one vote for every person but they are suppressed violently.
“And the British prime minister travels to the country in full disgrace and supports the cruel government,” he said.
