A lawmaker has predicted that President Hassan Rouhani's new pick for minister of higher education will win parliament's vote of confidence. Parliament is scheduled to hold a confirmation vote on ministerial nominee Mohammad Farhadi on Wednesday. Mohsen Beiglari told ISNA on Monday that Farhadi will be approved in view of his "records, capabilities and experience." He added that the "atmosphere" in the Majlis toward the president's candidate is "positive".
