Principlists’ Unity Crucial

The deputy secretary general of the Combatant Clergy Association says it is “very crucial” that the principlists take measures to achieve unity and cohesion.  “Any group or individual that considers themselves principlist should unite… they have only one option for the next election (the parliamentary election in 2016), which is to put up a single list of candidates,” IRNA quoted Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahhedi Kermani as saying on Saturday.  “The rival (the reformists) will benefit if the principlists have several lists of candidates,” he said.  He added that differences should be resolved and unity should not be undermined because the “most important principle is maintaining unity.”
