Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Lieutenant General Hossein Salami warned enemies to stay away from Iran’s borders or expect “a crushing response.”
“Iran’s deterrent power is very destructive and the armed forces will give very firm response to the enemies in case of making any aggressive move,” Salami said on Saturday, Fars News Agency reported.
The IRGC general said the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in fact a combination of guidance, leadership and management inspired by the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
“We are not concerned about any type of aggression, as no one dares to choose the military option in dealing with Iran,” Salami stressed. In relevant remarks, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Lieutenant General Amir Ali Hajizadeh recently said Iran is always prepared to give a firm response to the slightest aggression.
“The armed forces are at a high level of preparedness to counter potential threats,” he said.
