The head of Iran-Cuba parliamentary friendship group says it is the “strategic” policy of the Islamic Republic to have “constructive interaction” with Latin American countries. Abdolreza Mesri made the remarks in a meeting with Cuban Ambassador to Iran Vladimir Gonzalez on Tuesday, IRNA reported. The Iranian and Cuban parliaments, as influential bodies in the area of foreign policy, enjoy great potential to help facilitate establishment of relations between the two countries’ private sectors, he said.
