Iran's Air Defense identified a US unmanned aerial vehicle east of the county and forced it to avoid Iranian airspace. The American spy drone was flown from a base in Afghanistan's Qandahar and is thought to have been programmed to intrude into Iran's airspace, Tasnim News Agency reported on Monday not giving the date of the incident.  The pilotless aircraft was flying as close as 32 kilometers away from Iranian airspace, but changed its path after receiving a warning from the air defense forces. It came after Nazir, an advanced homemade radar system used for detecting small targets at long distances, became operational in a desert area earlier in the day.  According to Air Defense Commander Lieutenant General Farzad Esmaeli, no stealth aircraft will be able to intrude into Iranian airspace with Nazir in service.
