Iran's civil and military organizations have been equipped with eight new military and non-military helicopters, two of which have been manufactured in Iran. Fully complying with international and national aviation standards, the helicopters, either manufactured or overhauled by Iran Helicopter Support and Renewal Company, were unveiled on Tuesday at a ceremony attended by Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan, Tasnim News Agency reported. Five "Bell 412-EP" rescue helicopters were delivered to Iran's Red Crescent Society at the event. Additionally, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ground Forces received a "Mill 171" helicopter overhauled by IHRC for the first time. The IRGC Ground Force will also take delivery of a "Bell 206" and a "Bell 214", both manufactured in Iran, as soon as their flight tests are over.
