The police have announced that terrorists who recently killed four border guards in the southeast have fled into neighboring Pakistan. "Taking advantage of the Pakistani government's negligence, the terrorists have fled into Pakistan territory," IRNA quoted police spokesman Lieutenant General Saeed Montazer-al-Mahdi as saying on Thursday. The four guards lost their lives in an ambush in the border region of Jakigour in the southern Sarbaz district of Sistan and Baluchestan Province on Wednesday. The attack was followed by clashes in which a number of terrorists were killed and injured.
