UNSC to Hear Report on JCPOA

United Nations Security Council President Koro Bessho announced on Saturday the council would hear a briefing on the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's report concerning implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action concerning Iran's nuclear program on July 18, according to the website of the world body. The report was issued six months after the action plan's implementation day in accordance with UNSC Resolution 2231, which was adopted days after the conclusion of the nuclear deal last July to endorse the landmark agreement.
