Deputy Interior Minister Meets Pak Envoy

Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Affairs Hossein Zolfaqari underscored strategic and ties between Tehran and Islamabad, and called for increased cooperation between the two neighbors. Zolfaqari said Iran-Pakistan relations are "strategic" and "strong" and the ambassadors of the two countries should work to boost mutual cooperation. He made the remarks in a meeting with the outgoing Pakistani Ambassador in Tehran Noor Mohammad Jadmani, according to Fars News Agency.  Zolfaqari underlined the necessity of following up on bilateral agreements, especially the establishment of a joint border commission.
