Jordan’s Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said his country wants to improve diplomatic relations with Iran. Judeh, who is also Jordan’s deputy prime minister, made the remark in talks with the Iranian ambassador in Amman, Mojtaba Ferdosipour, Press TV reported.  He expressed hope that Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif would visit Amman in the near future to help prepare the ground for more diplomatic consultations between the two countries. Ferdosipour stressed the importance of closer consultations and visits between the two sides’ officials and holding meetings of advisory political and security committees. The Jordanian minister visited Tehran in March 2015 and held talks on ways to promote Tehran-Amman ties and the developments in the Middle East region such as the fight against terrorism and extremism. In his meeting with Zarif, Judeh said the Arab League should organize Arab-Iranian dialogue similar to its dialogue with other countries.
