Stable Syria Policy

Stable Syria Policy

An advisor to the parliament speaker denied foreign media speculations that Iran has shifted its policy on Syria, reiterating that Tehran's all-out support for President Bashar al-Assad will remain unchanged.   "Some people think that Iran has changed its Syria policy or the Russian presence has undermined Iran's role and influence. These are speculations wrong," Hossein Sheikholeslam said on Monday, Fars News Agency reported. Iran is pursuing "a stable policy" in Syria that is based on ground realities and political developments in the war-ravaged Arab country.
