The Foreign Ministry denied media reports claiming that Tehran has changed its Syria policy, reiterating opposition to foreign interference in the Arab country. "The Islamic Republic's position on the developments in Syria has always been stable, and Tehran from the outset underlined a political solution to the crisis in that country," a Foreign Ministry source said on Saturday, according to Fars News Agency. Iran has never made any decision on the future of President Bashar al-Assad, the source said. "Tehran believes only the Syrian people can decide their future."
