Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani urged the government's economic team to make every effort to rid the country of the "evil triangle of high inflation, recession and unemployment". In a meeting with members of a reformist party in Tehran on Tuesday, the former president and senior cleric pointed to the decision by the government to ease the monetary policy and said funds should be used to reenergize factories and boost production to help improve the job market, IRNA reported.
