In a decree issued on Sunday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei appointed Ezzatollah Zarghami to the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the Supreme Council of Cyberspace. Zarghami had previously served as director of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). Ayatollah Khamenei on Saturday appointed Mohammad Sarafraz as new IRIB director. Sarafraz had previously served as director of some Iranian news networks, such as Press TV and Al-Alam.
