Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reiterated Tehran’s stance on the need to find a political solution to the crisis in Yemen. “The crisis in Yemen has no military solution and the Yemeni people themselves should decide their future,” Amir-Abdollahian said in a meeting with the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s director general for Middle East affairs in Tehran on Monday, Fars News Agency reported. “The only option is to promote peace and stability in [Yemen and Syria] and the region through adopting a rational stance.”
