Russia to Honor S-300 Pledges

Russia will continue to supply Iran with the S-300 air defense system under the 2007 deal. Informed Russian sources told Al Mayadeen TV that despite US warnings of their possible sanctions on Russia over the move, it will fulfill its commitments under the agreement, ISNA reported on Thursday. Moscow has delivered the first shipment of the anti-aircraft weapon to Iran and has announced the deal will be fully implemented by the yearend.
