Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that preparations are underway for a meeting among the leaders of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia. “Yes, preparations for such ameeting are underway,” TASS quoted Peskov as saying on Friday. He did not specify the date and the location of the meeting, noting that “we will inform you about it when the dates are finally coordinated and confirmed.” Iranian media had earlier reported that a meeting between the presidents of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan is planned to take place in Baku in July-August.
