The defense minister on Wednesday unveiled three of the latest technological achievements of Iranian experts, including the transmitter of an indigenous positioning and navigation system, which could substitute the Global Positioning System. In a ceremony at Malek-Ashtar University of Technology in Tehran, Lieutenant General Hossein Dehqan unveiled the three new products developed by the university's researchers, Tasnim News Agency reported. The homegrown products also include a vacuum plasma-coating machine and a furnace for vacuum arc re-melting.
