Political analyst Sadeq Zibakalam says the fact that Oman has been chosen to host nuclear talks between Iran and the major powers is a "positive sign" which indicates the negotiations have reached a "decisive stage". In view of the existing mistrust between Iran and the US, guarantees requested by the two sides could be provided with the mediation of a third party; and Oman which has the trust of Iran and the US is an important and reliable option," he told ISNA on Saturday.
