World-famous philosopher and political commentator Noam Chomsky told RT on Friday Iran is able to defeat militants of the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria "in no time." He said Iran could participate in the international coalition against IS, adding, "Look at the Iraqi Foreign Office, what they want is for Iran to become involved. It's a major military force. If it did enter it would probably wipe out IS in no time."
