The Iranian Army on Monday unveiled a new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle that can be used for reconnaissance and combat operations.

The drone named Siraf has a flying range of 100 km and was unveiled during the Beit-ul-Moqaddas 28 war game in the central province of Isfahan, Fars News Agency reported.

Siraf, which is capable of taking images and conducting real-time transfer, has been built by students at the college of the army’s artillery training center in Isfahan.

Earlier in the day, the army unveiled an ultra-heavy tank transporter named Pouria and Fallagh optimized tank.

“Pouria ultra-heavy tank carrier and Fallagh tanks were unveiled during Beit-ul-Moqaddas drills,” Lieutenant General Massoud Reza Zavarei, head of the Army Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad, told reporters in Isfahan.

Zavarei said Fallagh is equipped with an automatic and stabilized DShK machine gun that is controlled by the crew.
