President of Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government Masoud Barzani and Iranian Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi discussed issues of mutual interest, particularly the campaign against terrorism. In a meeting on Sunday in Erbil, the two sides also called for expanding cooperation between Iran and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in various areas, IRNA reported. Earlier in the day, Alavi met with KRG Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani.
