West's Approach to Human Rights Criticized

Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani criticized the West for using human rights as an instrument to pressure other countries. "Today, western states use human rights merely as a tool to exert pressure and even imposed many sanctions against numerous countries, including Iran, by using this pretext," he was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency on Sunday. Larijani underlined that westerners are not allowed to promote and impose their version of human rights on the world.
