Envoys to Attend Economic Meeting

Iranian ambassadors and heads of mission will attend an economic meeting organized by the Foreign Ministry in Tehran. Fars News Agency reported that the diplomats will get together on Saturday and Sunday for a conference titled "JCPOA and Resistance Economy: Opportunities and Capacities". In the meeting, which will be addressed by high-raking government officials, ways to help remove obstacles to Resistance Economy, a set of policies aimed at promoting economic self-reliance, will be discussed. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is the formal name of the July 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers that went into effect in January 2016 and  led to the lifting of nuclear sanctions against Iran.
