Backing Political Solution to Yemen Crisis

Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian underlined the need for enforcing a lasting ceasefire in Yemen and ending the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the impoverished nation. Speaking in a meeting with his German counterpart Markus Ederer in Tehran on Wednesday, Amir-Abdollahian said there is a need for restoration of ceasefire, removal of the siege and adoption of constructive approaches by all parties, Fars News Agency reported. The German deputy foreign minister hoped that political parties would achieve a political solution to the current crisis afflicting the Arab country.
