Envoy Meets Pak Interior Minister

Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost met Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Thursday to discuss bilateral ties. Honardoost said obstacles to banking cooperation should be removed to prepare the ground for the two countries' businessmen to develop trade relations, IRNA reported. The two officials conferred on preparations for the next meeting of the joint economic commission, which will be held in Tehran in the near future. Security cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad was also discussed in the meeting.
