Iran Enjoys Unparalleled Security

Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi said while insecurity prevails in most countries of the Middle East and across the world, the Islamic Republic enjoys “unparalleled” security. Relying on “their intelligence radar”, Iranian security forces have so far managed to identify and dismantle many terrorist groups and thwart all plots aimed at endangering the country’s security, Alavi said on Monday, Press TV reported. He added that terrorists are focusing efforts on “challenging the security” of the Islamic Republic, but all such plots have been neutralized. Alavi said the self-styled Islamic State terrorist group seeks to hatch plots against the Islamic Republic from its de facto capital Raqqah in Syria, but all terrorist bands that headed to Iran have been nabbed by Iranian security forces. The intelligence minister emphasized that the country’s security forces have succeeded in defeating terrorists and their elements. Iran maintains military advisers in Syria where the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is fighting an array of foreign-backed militant forces.
