In a Sunday meeting in Tehran, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, and Japan's Ambassador Hiroyasu Kobayashi explored avenues for boosting cooperation between the two countries, particularly in various fields of nuclear energy, Tasnim News Agency reported. Back in November 2015, Salehi traveled to Japan to hold talks with the country's officials on promotion of nuclear cooperation, including in the safety field.
