Military Advisors to Remain in Syria

Army Commander Ahmad Reza Pourdastan underlined that Iranian military advisors will remain in Syria to help the Arab country's army in the fight against terrorists. "One of the demands of the Syrian government from Iran is to send military forces as advisors to provide assistance to the Syrian Army. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps sent its forces in the past years and the Iranian Army was notified last week to dispatch some of its forces as advisors to Syria as well," Pourdastan said on Sunday, Fars News Agency reported.
