Principlists to Resume Convergence Efforts

Principlists will resume efforts to forge convergence after the April 29 runoff parliamentary elections, the deputy head of the Combatant Clergy Association said. Seyyed Reza Taqavi also told Fars News Agency on Wednesday that the meetings of the Principlist Convergence Council will resume after the second round of the Majlis vote and the first meetings will be held in Tehran. Taqavi said the council's main task is to develop "mechanisms" to foster unity among principlists.
