The chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has called for lifting of all anti-Iran sanctions by the November 24 deadline for a nuclear deal between Tehran and the world powers. “If we want a definitive accord on November 24, there must be an immediate lifting of sanctions,” Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Wednesday in a press conference in Paris, AFP quoted him as saying.
He described the US proposal for gradual lifting of sanctions as “unacceptable”. His comment came in response to a Reuter’s report last week alleging that Iran’s leadership would be satisfied with partial removal of the embargoes.
