The newly elected Assembly of Experts will convene its first meeting on May 24, a member of the presiding board of the current assembly said. Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said new members of the clerical body's presiding board will be elected in a vote in the May meeting, ISNA reported on Sunday. "The last meeting of the outgoing assembly will be held this Tuesday and Wednesday," he said.
