Iran unveiled five new domestically manufactured defense equipment in a ceremony in Tehran on Monday. The defense achievements comprised the Pars Cam detector device, an explosives and drugs detector device, anti-shock and explosion-proof polymer covers, a new generation of NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) suits and a production line for obidoxime chloride, a medicine for countering chemical agents, Press TV reported. During the ceremony, Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan said, "In spite of the sanctions against the defense sector, the armed forces have foiled enemies' intentions by attaining self-sufficiency."
