Rouhani Intends to Visit Pakistan

Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoust said President Hassan Rouhani intends to visit Islamabad. "President Rouhani's visit to Islamabad, in response to the visit of Pakistani prime minister [Nawaz Sharif] to Tehran, is on the agenda, but the exact date and details have not yet been scheduled," the ambassador told journalists in the Pakistani capital on Thursday, Fars News Agency reported. Voicing dissatisfaction with the current level of trade, Honardoust referred to the relatively higher trade volume between Iran and Afghanistan and urged the media to promote greater economic relations between the two neighbors.
