Head of the Civil Defense Organization Gholamreza Jalali warned of a shift in the nature of threats against the country, saying that appropriate strategies need to be adopted to counter threats. "We should analyze threats in a specialized way and counter them with new strategies," he said in a conference on civil defense in Tehran on Monday, Tasnim News Agency reported. "Today's threats are no longer merely military and can include cultural, political, environmental, biological and economic fields."
